Adventure Camp is all about maximising the amount of fun your K9 has throughout the day. Everyday, our staff will spin the ‘wheel of fun’ to determine what games will be played during the day. This can include chasing bubbles, playing treibbal, being set loose on the agility course, playing good old fashioned tug, or a variety of other games and activities. At lunch, your dog will be put to bed for a midday nap. After the nap your dog will be brought back to the play yard for one last hurray to tire them out before returning home. One thing is for certain - your dog will have an extreme amount of fun.
-
Of course! Our staff will be available and on-site from drop-off to pick-up. They will constantly monitor the yard to ensure all dogs are safe and well-behaved. They use our K9 and Co Games Manual to pick various fun activities to initiate throughout the day (being sure to film them for at home pleasure!), and of course provide many pats and cuddles. Rest assured that your K9 will be safe and having the time of their life!

Yes. All first timers will need to book in a Behavioural Assessment. We take pride in ensuring we have a safe environment for both our dogs and our staff. As a result, all first timers will need to sign up for a Behavioural Assessment. During this session, our K9 Happiness Officers will assess your dog to make sure they are a good fit for Day Camp.
-
All dogs attending K9 and Co must first go through a Behavioural Assessment before being introduced to the pack.
From an owners perspective, it operates just like a standard day of daycamp - you can drop your dog off at our office between open hours and pick up during collection hours.
Your dog will get the full day of fun, however, during the day, our team will take extra measures to make sure daycamp is a right fit for your dog. This includes introducing them to our yard on their own first so they can get used to the us as handlers as well as the yard. We look out for signs of anxiety or stress and any negative or specific social behaviours, as well as getting to know your dogs personality so we know which dogs to group with. We will also test out energy, different equipment and different games to gauge how we can deliver the best service for your dog moving forward. Once happy, we will slowly introduce your dog to the calmer dogs in the pack to make sure they are being well behaved. Once happy, we will introduce your pup to the rest of the pack whilst constantly monitoring for signs of stress or discomfort.
For dogs that are new to daycamp, it can be pretty overwhelming, so we also carve out lots of break-time throughout the day to keep them happy, safe and having a great time.
You can book the behavioural assessment through our website, and add any comments to help our team in advance.
At the end of the day, you'll receive a detailed report card explaining how your dogs first day went, and chat about some other options if we don't think daycamp is a good fit.

Follow us @k9andco.brisbane to see what our K9 Happiness Officers have in store for your pup! We will be sure to post constantly throughout the day so you will be able to see what fun activity your dog is enjoying, who their new best friend is, and how much fun they’re having.

Nope! We will keep a close eye on all dogs in our yard to make sure no naughty behaviour occurs! However, we do recommend to keep your female dog at home while she’s in heat just to be 100% certain of no unwanted pregnancies!

At K9 and Co, we value the work-life balance of our staff and as a result, we want them to be able to return home on time at the end of a day.
Because of this, a late fee will apply to all owners collecting their pet after our operating hours.
A late fee of $20 per 15 minutes will apply. By using our services you acknowledge to respect our staffs personal time and agree to paying these charges.
-
Absolutely! Our staff will be sure to make sure the younger generation aren’t exhibiting too much of rough and tumble throughout the day and will be sure to seperate any particularly enthusiastic dogs from your senior citizen.

Not yet! We would love to offer this service in the future but, unfortunately, we are unable to at this point in time.
