K9 and Co Policies

  • We want to work with customers and staff who share the same values as us. Our team commit to being honest and transparent with our customers, commit to always showing respect to customers and their pets, and commit to providing a fear and force-free training environment for dogs. In turn, we expect our customers to be honest and transparent with us and to always be respectful to our staff.

The people looking after your pets deserve respect. We reserve the right to refuse service to any customer who violates this.

  • Reservations are required in advance for all services. We recommend booking two weeks in advance to secure your spot.

  • As a curtesy, please ensure cancellation occurs 24 hours prior to your reservation. This helps us ensure we staff appropriately for the day as well as open up spots to any waitlisted customers.

  • An up to date C5 vaccination is required for all animals attending Adventure Camp. Proof of vaccination can be:

    • Uploaded to your profile in Gingr

    • Emailed to our team at hellobrisbane@k9andco.com.au

    • Presented to our staff upon your first visit.

Per Vets recommendation, we can only accept puppies 2 weeks after their final vaccination.

  • Should our team believe that your dog could be a danger to themself or others due to aggression, sexual maturity, or sickness, your dog will be isolated and you will be notified immediately. Your dog will remain isolated until collection.

  • Behavioural conditions that can affect your dogs ability to socialise in a group setting must be notified in the Temperament Form. Such behaviours include, but are not limited to, fear-aggression, social assertiveness, excessive barking, excessive mounting, aversion to particular breeds, aversion to strangers. K9 and Co reserves the right to deny entry based any of these conditions.

The owner agrees to be solely responsible for any and all acts or behaviour of their pet while it is in the company's care and hereby indemnifies K9 and Co Adventure Camp and shall keep the company indemnified to the full extent permitted by the law for any action of the animal which apart from this indemnity may have created liability on the company. The owner shall be responsible for any loss or damage to any of the company's property and accepts that the owner of the dog will be liable for any damages caused.

  • Just like sending your child to day care can result in an increase risk of illness and injury, so too can sending your dog to dog day care.

K9 and Co Adventure Camp or it's employees will not be held responsible for any illness, injury or damage of any kind whatsoever that may occur to any animal during their time with us. By sending your dog to day care, you accept this risk.

We commit to doing everything we can to minimise this risk by 1) vetting all dogs that attend our facility, 2) implementing regular disinfection and cleaning routines, 3) monitoring all group play and 4) keeping groups small.

  • Early drop-offs can be accommodated between 7:00am and 7:30am upon request for a $30 fee.

Please request early/late drop-off in the reservation notes.
